Okay so here’s the second post for today with an announcement of a new SteelBook coming (I think) on May 8th: The Day the Earth Stood Still, the 2008 remake with Keanu Reeves. Yes another MediaMarkt Exclusive.

Here’s the cover(s) (Thanks to DEMON23) – I have a theory that it’s either going to be two covers OR that it’ll be a lenticular cover:

    I definitely prefer the GORT cover over the Klaatu (Keanu Reeves) version. If in fact TWO different steelbook covers are produced, I will have to get BOTH! Kynch, I hope you are right and we get one of the designs as a slipcase – lenticular would make it even more appealing. Sadly, the movie itself, though intriguing in concept, never lived up to its potential. The sudden ending left me feeling unfulfilled.
